Tonight's Game 3 of the 2009 World Series, as we all know the two teams going head to head are the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies. Game this game is key to the Yankees since the had a bad start in the beginning of the series loosing 6-1 at home. Andy Pettitte is opening up for the Yankees and as for the Phillies, Cole Hamels. In order for the Yankees to win the World Series, they have to win one of the two games in Philadelphia and finish strong at home. They key in tonights game for the Yanks is there offense. A good performance by Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter, and Mark Teixeira when they are up at bat is what's necessary tonight, if not things can get ugly when the series go back to New York for game 5 and 6. As for the Phillies what they have to focus on is their pitching. As some of us saw in game one, that was what killed the Yankees. In the stats Phillies have a small advantage due to the fact that they are playing at home and Hamels is pitching. Let the best team win.
